The NLPNP Express Entry Skilled Worker Category helps individuals who can contribute to Newfoundland and Labrador's economy and intend to settle permanently. Applicants must have a valid job offer, meet eligibility criteria including language proficiency and settlement funds, and be accepted into the federal Express Entry pool. Successful applicants may become permanent residents of Canada.

• Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the Immigration Accelerator Portal.
• If selected, receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) with 60 days to submit a complete application.
• Application assessment updates provided via an online dashboard.
• Final decision notification of approval or refusal.
• Eligibility requires a full-time job offer from an eligible Newfoundland and Labrador employer for at least one year with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Job must pay salary or hourly wage (not commission), meet provincial employment standards and regional prevailing wage rates.
• Applicants must have relevant qualifications, training, skills, and/or accreditation and meet NOC code employment requirements.
• Must have valid English or French language test results and sufficient settlement funds.
• Applicants must be between 21 and 59 years old and intend to settle permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador.
• Must be accepted into IRCC’s Express Entry pool and have a valid work permit or authorization to work in Canada.
• Minimum 67 points required on the NLPNP Point Assessment Grid.

• Introduction of an expedited pathway for Express Entry candidates with valid job offers and meeting provincial criteria.

• Skilled workers accepted into the federal Express Entry pool seeking nomination through Newfoundland and Labrador’s Provincial Nominee Program.
• Applicants with a valid full-time job offer in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 occupations from eligible employers in Newfoundland and Labrador.

• Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) via the Immigration Accelerator Portal.
• If invited, submit a complete application within 60 days.
• Provide all required documentation including police certificates, language test results, proof of settlement funds, and work experience documentation.
