The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream enables foreign workers with a valid job offer in a skilled occupation or eligible physicians to apply for permanent residence in Ontario. Applicants must have a full-time, permanent job offer in Ontario from an employer registered in the Employer Portal, meet work experience or licensing requirements, and follow the application process including registering an expression of interest and submitting applications upon invitation. Successful nominees then apply to IRCC for permanent residence.

• The stream is open to foreign workers both inside and outside Canada with a job offer in a TEER 0,1,2, or 3 skilled occupation.
• Employers must register their business and submit a job offer in the Employer Portal.
• Applicants must register an expression of interest within 30 days of the job offer submission.
• Applicants and employers must submit applications within specified deadlines after receiving an invitation to apply.
• Job offers must be full-time (minimum 30 hours/week, 1560 hours/year), permanent, and meet or exceed median wage levels for the occupation and region.
• The position must be urgently necessary to the employer’s business and based primarily in Ontario.
• Applicants must have at least two years of cumulative paid full-time work experience in the same occupation or hold a valid Ontario license if required.
• Self-employed professionals are generally ineligible unless applying without a job offer under specific conditions for physicians.
• Applications submitted by self-appointed representatives are invalid and will be withdrawn.
